what is this in the red circle. i broke mine and need another one

It's part of your HVAC ducting, what/ how did you break it? You cant see the thing just super glue/ JB Weld it.

 

i forgot to take the bolt out in the engine bay and just yanked it out and broke it

 

so it just broke off a plastic tab? just use the bolts that do work and try and JB weld the tab on. You could get lucky and find a piece on Ebay or on here. Possibly still from the dealer but i'm positive you wouldnt want to pay what they'll want for it.

 

yeah i could just go to pick a part and hope they have a crx

 

true, thats always an option but I doubt most of them already have the dash ripped out. Next time if it's not coming off easily....look around

 

yeah i was like oh i theres the bolt that was holding it in after i ripped it out

 

never knew the air duct in the cabin was bolted in from the engine bay side..hmm

 

the part that i broke is

 

it has a stud that goes into the bay and theres a nut on it

 

rip that thing out and dont ever look back. that thing is unnecessary weight!

ac is the best i love it in my hatch

 

WILL have ac in my 91 rex ,soon! (all there,but w8in til afta b16 swap). Oh,and don't do that!(snatching on a honda part that's "stuck").Means there's a bolt or 2 somewhere still...

 

i know now to check everywhere
