tuning my turboed z6
Hey everyone, I bought a d16z6 H beam rods, stock head. Has a turbo running anywhere from 8 to 15 lbs. I finally got it in the car and running good. Came with a VAFC but i heard they are junk. This was after i already installed it. I want to tune it with crome but have no idea where to even start. I know alot of people on here who has done this tuning, I have the p28 ecu that they said was chipped for 8lbs and i have no idea if I need another ecu or what all i would need to tune with crome. Please some input thanks

Get rid of the VAFC, competely.
It's been a while since I've actually checked, but I do not believe that most tuners work with Crome anymore.
My honest suggestion would be to take the car to a tuner and have it tuned on ECtune and let that be it. My experiences with Crome are pretty simple. If you can't tune it yourself, you really shouldn't waste your time with it. Like I said, most reputable tuners won't bother with it, and I've seen all sorts of sketchy stuff going on with the "I know a guy I met at xxx meet and he can tune anything" guys.
If you do decide to go with Crome, just make sure if you're going with someone who's not really reputable that you can check him/her out in some way.
