Alright I just got myself another del sol my last one didn't have this problem but my parents truck does so I'm a bit lost. When the car is in gear and i get on it harder than normal i hear a rattling noice almost like a ball bearing bouncing around. For example say im doing 20 and im in second and i stomp on it is when i notice it it happens in 2nd 3rd and a little in 4th and 5th but not to much. Any ideas what it might be?

No one is going to be able to tell you for sure without some more information. But this just reminded me, i had the same problem one time and i thought i was something major and i got under the car to see what could possibly be causing it. And the heat shield for the cat was rattling against the o2 sensor. It did the same thing, only rattled under acceleration and everything because thats when the motor torques, therefore moving the exhaust. Check that! you never know!

 

more than likely the heat shield for the cat. mine rattled like a ****, until i took it off.
