Default Delay in cranking 2002 Accord V-6

Help please. I have 2002 Accord V-6 with 184,000 mi. Perfect. Always started as soon as I hit key. Now sometimes turns over multiple times and acts like it won't start. Turn key off and hit it again, cranks right up. New battery, replaced plugs. Runs great. Doesn't happen every time. Happening more often. No codes. Intermittant.

Just had the same problem. It was the starter solenoid, so replaced the starter. No more problem =-)

It cranks but won't start. I thought when starter was bad it made a grinding noise. This one sounds fine but just won't start.

next time it does it, make sure the check engine light comes on for a second or two then cuts off (at the same time you should hear a relay click under the dash). If you don't hear it and it won't start its probably the main relay starting to act up.
