Took the car in for routine oil change, tire rotation. The next day there was a massive oil leak- all over the belts, alternator, hood- just being flung. The leak appears to be the crankshaft seal. Now the car only has 30k miles, 2006 Accord. To me this is no coincidence. Car was fine, they service it and suddenly there is huge problem. Any GOOD answers to my dilema will be appreciated.

 

maybe check the dipstick tube.

 

immediately take it back where you had the service done... did they forget to put the filler cap back on?

 

It's unlikely they did anything if you have a 4-cyl. A leaky front crank seal is a fairly common problem on the newer 4-cyl engines and not that hard to replace.

If it is a V6, check for a leaking oil filter or doubled filter gaskets.
