Weird hybrid setup, what would happen...
Okay. I got my car stolen this week. So what I am doing is buying a DX, it has stock motor, but intake and exhaust..
What I want to do is use the DX block. ZC rods, pistons, and crank, in the DX block, get some headwork done to a SOHC VTEC or SI head, and see how it would run. Would this kind of setup work? What kind of precautions would I need to take? I may try to pick up a Z6 block and head or something. I dunno yet. But I just wnat to know how that idea sounds...

Personally, I've never done it and don't know about the internals, but isn't it what is known as a mini-me setup and is done fairly often? Good luck!
