Default 2.5" exhaust, ots or piece together?

Getting my kiddracing header installed along with a 2.5" high flow cat.my 60mm greddy piping is the new bottleneck,so I'm thinking of doing a 2.5" all the way back.

Do they sell an off the shelf 2.5" catback that I can just bolt on.also one that's NOT an N1 style muffler?

I was thinking of piecing together an exhaust. Has anyone bought a piping kit from vrsexhaust.com ? I also see that vibrant mufflers/resonators are commonly used in this forum, which vendor has the best prices?

i had a blox hytech header on my gsr... I bought a magnaflow high flow cat, magnaflow 18" resonator, and magnaflow muffler brand new and took it to a muffler shop to do pipping for me which only costed me around 300 after i was done with everything. Trust me doing a 2.5 all the way is the right way to do it. The flow will be a lot better then if you were to do a 2.5 header to a none 2.5 pipping. And my setup was with a stock looking magnaflow muffler it was really quite a little deeper then apexi ws.

I've always used kteller for my piping needs. 99% of exhaust shops don't have mandrel pipe benders due to their high cost and on top of that, what they say is mandrel piping is NOT true mandrel piping as it is stretched where the piping changes directions.

^I've read that Kteller gets their piping from VRS. So that's why I mentioned them...

Where do you guys think I should get the resonators/muffler? What type?

I have also heard that kteller gets their piping from VRS.

I have not seen a catback that's not 60mm without the canister muffler, other than the Thermal 3' Turbo exhaust.

You can get the piping by itself and then weld on any muffler you choose.

We're direct w/ Vibrant and can offer their line. Please contact us if you have special needs or want to speak about the line. Also once again, to clear it up.. we have worked with vrs in the past and everything we offer did not come from them. Some items they offer have awkward fitments, so please if you don't buy direct from us... don't complain if something doesn't fit right because you 'heard' it would.

Have dealt with Kteller multiple times in the past and have even forwarded all of my "close" friends to them as their prices are competitive, fitment is great, and are very helpful when talking to them on the phone. I wouldn't use ANYbody else for my exhaust needs.

KTeller FTW, I have a Hytech replica, TDM adj. test pipe, and KTeller 2.5" no resonators to a Tanabe Hyper Medallion oval muffler, somewhat raspy but very deep (it's pretty loud I've been told)

test pipe and no resonators sounds like a loud combo.

I've pm-ed kteller and emailed vrs, let's see which of the two are willing to work with me....

It's def no Apexi WS2 but there are ALOT louder, I was about to make a exhaust video but my motor spun a bearing so it'll have to wait untill the built motor is done. You'd be suprised what a quality muffler will do with a setup like mine. I had everything on my car minus the muffler for 2 days before I could get it welded on and I was deaf for those 2 days no joke lol. It was like night and day after I got it on. When I got my KTeller piping it came in a VRS box if that helps you out any..

psh why get it from from kteller when you can go right to VRS which is where they get their piping from anyways?

I have a bisi header, to 2.5" vibrant race cat, 2.5" vrs exhaust no res, to a vibrant 2.5" inlet 3" twin tip street power muffler.
i can keep it very quiet if needs be. idle can't be heard if your like 15ft away. can get super loud specially in vtec. still tons of power.
just for the exhaust cost me bout 400 though. 460 including getting it assembled and put in.
