Default Suggestion on replacement brake rotors / pads

I am going to need new brake rotors / pads soon...

Any suggestions on what I should get?

I am not going to be racing my car nor need the $2k brake kits.

I just would like something that is considerably better than stock and has good stopping power.

Any suggestions on any pads or rotors?

I am going to get slotted rotors for sure and nice pads.

Whats your set up? Any reviews? thanks!

ate premium one rotors - http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...5&autoModClar=

hawk ceramic pads - F: http://www.jscspeed.com/index.php?p=...6Z.681&x=9&y=6
R: http://www.jscspeed.com/index.php?p=...Z.570&x=7&y=18

i don't have them on a tsx, but they are indeed a nice combo. the rotors are coated with a very durable bonded coating so the hats and edges won't rust. that is a one bummer about brembo OE replacement rotors, though their sport rotors are zinc coated :shrugs:. and the price is incredible compared to anything else worth looking at.

the pads are dope because they are grabby both initially and when hot, and don't seem to dust like most other pads. they do dust some, but the dust is just a different color so it's not as bad on top of just being less overall.

SS brake lines make a huge difference as well, but aren't necessary.

i'm old school; i stick with goodridge. there might be better ones out there, but they always have my applications and are relatively affordable, especially now that a bazillion people have them available on the web.

OP, do you want me to copy this to the brake sub-forum too, so those creeps see this along with the TSX heads?
