My 1990 Accord has auto seatbelts, and the lap belt its stuck in the plugin. I tried screwdrivers and WD-40 but nothing works, and im not sure what to do..anybody know anything??

 

Not sure if it counts on older Honda's but seatbelts are a lifetime warranty item. So call a dealer and check to see if your year is. That would suck to be in an accident and not be able to get out of your seatbelt!

 

visit the dealership.. there was a recall for that problem, not to mention, lifetime seatbelt warranty's....

 

Its actually the passengers side, but still, it looks bad just stuck in the plugin, thanks

 

thee reason why it gets stuck is because red plastic release mechanism chips off and falls into the buckle assembly preventing the latch from coming out... passenger side is covered as well...
