Seatbelt issue?

Seatbelt issue?
First time poster here. I've searched the forums and can't seem to find anyone with quite the exact same issue.
I just bought a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6 6-speed with 27k miles on it about 2 weeks ago. (Still can't believe I found this car with that mileage).
Anyways, starting today, the seat belt indicator came on. I've narrowed it down to the driver side, not the passenger. The airbag light also comes on after a few seconds (only after plugging in the belt, I believe).
The problem is 1. I have to look at these red lights and (more importantly) 2. I have to listen to constant beeping telling me to put on my seat belt.
I'm making an appointment with the dealership ASAP and hoping they will fix it for free, but I was wondering if anybody had any ideas/knowledge on whether or not I could fix this myself. The button is a little sticky, so I'm considering putting some WD40 in there, but I don't want to ruin anything.
I'm going insane listening to the beeping , so if somebody can help, that'd be great! Thanks!

Re: Seatbelt issue?
You might want to clean the buckle with some electrical cleaner, just so the dealership can't deny the warranty on it. I don't think you can fix it yourself, because I tried and the defective part (thin metal piece) is too weak to hold up, and broke again in a short time. Get the nearest dealership to change it for you.
PS: The dealership may have to order the part, and call you when they receive it. Good luck

The dealership should replace your seat belt assembly for free because I think all Honda Seat belts are covered under there limited life time warranty. Its what its says in the Owners Manual. also you said the SRS Airbag light is on?

Thanks for the replies. I ended up going to the dealership and they said they would replace the buckle for free. So they ordered the part and I went in the next day and they replaced it in less than 30 minutes!
