Default EK rear disc brake conversion Q's??????

hi I have a '96 EK Sedan and I just bought a rear Disc suspension from an Acura integra to do a disc brake conversion. I'm being told that I only need to put the integ Hubs on mine without the need of replacing the whole swing arm, and also that I will need a '99 Civic Si E-brake cable to make it work because my E-brake cable will be too long.. How true is this???

I'm not sure how true it is.. But I dont see a problem if it is too long I think you should worry more if it is too short.... I'll measure some that I have in my garage if you measure your integra cables

Your drum ebrake cables will not work. You will need 99-00 Civic Si cables.

There's been people that have used integra lines also, but i dont think they mount up perfectly.

Yes you can switch just the hub, but it is easier to drop and switch the entire trailing arm.

Hi I did this swap on my 96 EX sedan.
Here is whats involved:
-You are better off changing the whole arm cuz its only couple of bolts.
-You will definitely need 99 Si cables becuz the integra ones are longer and the Si ones are perfect fit.
-It is recommended to get the 99 Si prop valve but not required.
-Calipers and brake pads are all the same for 99Si, Integras and Del Sols.
-You are going to need Honda Brake fluid cuz you are gonna bleed your brakes after. You could go to pep boys but nuttin beats OEM.

Also, you do not need a 99-00 si prop vavle, you can use them from 96-00 civic dx, hatch/coupe, hx as well as si.

If I want to put aftermarket rotors, calipers, and pads, what oem parts, tool, supplies, etc. will I need for an 96 hatchback? What year integra should I look into?

Might as well replace the bushing and bearings while it's all apart too, so you don't have to worry about it.

1996-2000 Cx or Si only,
the valve needs to originate from non ABS vehicle.
