OK Im not familiar with Ma emissions laws. I have a friend who wants to put a swap in his obd2 civic si. Can this be done without a problem and if so, what needs to be done in order for the car to pass emissions. Lets say he wants to put a 96-98 ctr motor in his obd2 si, what would need to be done in order for it to pass emissions without problem?

 

hey as long as he doesnt have a check engine light or an srs light hes good. they will plug it in and thats it. where is he from? i can get it passed as long as theres nothing thatll pop up in the obd2 comp. i work at a dealer and theyre pretty cool with it as long as it doesnt look like itll get pulled over half a mile down the road wen he leaves the dealer. lemme kno

 

what would pop up. If he has the correct jumper harness wouldnt he be able to put any swap in the car and pass?
