ls block has thicker cylinder walls, but if you have the money, sleeve the b20 and use it. bigger displacement is always better

u need to use the correct tool, u need to use a rod bolt stretch gauge.
with the torque wrench u will not know how far u have stretch the rod bolts, they will snap on high rpm's, ands thats how u end up with a hole on ur block.

This is BS, do not post miss information!! They are the same thickness!!!!

To answer the OP`s question, the LS block is the better option for boost, but only becaue the cylinder walls are mounted slightly different to the block

Here`s a shot of how `thin`LOL the B20 walls are

WHOA WHOA, chill dude. Sorry for the miss info, I figured the difference between 84mm and 81mm would equal thinner walls. Get your panties out of that wad....

he is not, just saying people go on saying stuff like that and more people believe it and they say and it keeps on spreading. either way b20 or ls both are fun on boost well any honda motor is

Maybe the b20's cylinder walls aren't thinner but i do know that they are not made as strong as all other b series. Thats why they always crack if not built. Ask any good tuner

LS block over B20

b20 ahs very thing sleeves

you are looking at the wrong thing. its not that entire thickness. the sleeves are only 1-2mm thick

B18 LS and B20 have everything the same, except overbore

most LS blocks take more turbo power then B20

like others siad, its all in teh tune, both motors are weak and only support around 250whp reliabily. 300whp+ is for the VTEC blocks
