dc5/ep3 bars and braces
im looking to stiffen my chassis and was lookiing for some floor bars or pilliar bars and maybe some fender braces. thing is, as you know we have none of those things available to us. my question is do any of those above mentioned products work with our civics? i have a 4 door 03 civic. all ready have front and rear progress sway bars, and strut bars and tie bars.

What about a Chasis Brace? I was looking it up for my friend earlier today morning as a birthday present.

I might get this Tanabe one, or get him a strut tower bar instead. Which do you think would be better to get? He's stock at the moment.
I'm just not sure where to buy it cheapest from yet.

rear lca dc5's wont work. ep3's do. though, lca's for us don't do a damn thing.
tie bar from a dc5/ep3 will fit 7th gen coupes and sedans. again, tie bars dont do anything.
strut bars will fit from dc5/ep3. some say rear strut bars dont help, but I felt a difference when I put mine in.
best option, get a big rear sway bar

Just as a forewarning, those floor bars don't do anything to stiffen the chassis.
1. They are at the fulcrum of flex on the chassis. So they'll just twist when pressure is applied at either end.
2. They typically have 4+ bends in them near the center of the bar. So, for lateral strength they're about as strong as a wet noodle.

i believe megan offers a h brace for the em2 chassis but talking to a guy at the local shop revieled the bars coming in such poor quality that the one he dealt with personally wouldnt even match the holes on the car due to shooddy welding.
c pilliar brace anyone?

Already have a big rear sway bar, I want a new tie bar so I think I'm just gonna get a carbing or skunk2. That Ultra racing has alot of bars for all types of cars but there prices are going up too.
