Default Popping deal

I notice when i'm going slow with the car in gear & slowing down i will hear a popping noise by the front left area but when i put the clutch in it don't do it, also sometimes turning at low speeds it does this. What could it be? Its hard to explain cause i just notice it coming home so didn't have time to test drive around and see what else it does.

Not exhaust popping but more of pop/clicking noise coming from the left wheel area maybe by the cv axle or something

Couldn't tell you too much with such a vague description. Usually if a axle is bad it'll be more of a clicking noise.

It only does it at low speeds and when i turn.... sounds like tis coming directly behind my wheels not so much axle but i'm not too sure. Maybe its the ball joints?

Have them check all suspension mounting bolts as well. I had a subframe to control arm bolt loose as well as a compensator nut loose causing my popping noise.

Couldn't have been JUST one lugnut.

I drove with 3 lugnuts for 2 years and never heard a noise and seen many other people do the same.
The other lugs had to have been loose too

The other lugs had to have been loose too, or your problem really isn't solved yet

I guess the lug-nut that was loose was making the noise only at certain times which was odd but it was only one lug-nut loose and when i tighten it down then used the impact it stopped, odd but the problem hasn't happen again.

I've had 3 lugs on at a time when the tire shop didn't put the lugnuts back on right and i had to break one so i was rocking 3lugs and no noise but since the nut was loose it was clicking the actual wheel..
