rather have the B16 trans on a B16 but GSR trans is good for daily driving.

with the B16 trans, in 5th gear you will be ROARING at high RPM. The GSR trans has longer gear ratios. at 60mph, i'm at like 3200 RPM with my GSR trans.

the gsr ratio keeps your RPM's lower on the freeway.. which in turn will save you a lil gas... b16 trans will be at a higher RPM on the freeway, at cruising speed... the b16 trans will keep making you think you have to shift again, even if your in 5th gear.. hahaha

B16 trannies are short. But they are short for a reason. The B16 has a small powerband. Its tranny is designed to keep the motor in its powerband between shifts. A GSR tranny will net you a little better MPG's but you will be sloewr.

^^^^ i also agree there.... it mostly comes down to preference. and whats best for you...ive had both trans and i prefer gsr over b16, and thats usually what i get..
