i have a 96 ex coupe and for some reason when it goes up hills it barely makes it. its a stock motor but i had one before this one and this would never happen. i barely make it in 1st gear. people tell me its my cat but idk? does anyone have a solution or answers?

 

Start with the basics:

Any CEL codes?

Are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor new and OEM?

Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Have you replaced the fuel filter?
