1993 Accord, driver door is locked and will not unlock or open. All other power locks work, I have the panel kind of off, just enough to get my hand in, but no tools. The door is closed, any idea how I can get the door open?

THe driver's door latch has failed. This is an ugly event. You must get the panel off then methodically destroy the latch from inside the door. There is plent of info how check this out http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...-e9nbjxCDBqJEQ

The Lock **** moving up/down at all? If not, since the door panel is off, try to remove the lock actuator completely then try Lock **** again? Sometime the lock actuator permanently lock the door before it died (actuator)

 

well look slike I will get a new latch/acuator. What fits? Will a 93 2 door actuator fit? What years will be compatible for my 93 accord, 4 door? Many on ebay. By the way still not in yet, I will buy the latch first so if I need to destroy the latch I will be able to put a new one that day.
