Hello,

I am about to replace my distributor cap, and everyone keeps telling me to grab a OEM part however, I am only finding BWD distributor cap and rotor at advance auto. Am I looking in the wrong place? And is the BWD a weak cap? Thanks for the assistance.

 

The only place you're going to find OEM is at your local honda dealership. I haven't seen an aftermarket cap and rotor yet that was worth buying.

What do you mean aftermarket? And why are they not worth buying?

 

Aftermarket as in not OEM honda, as in what you would buy at a parts store.
OEM -> Original Equipment Manufacturer
They aren't worth buying because they either don't work right out of the box, don't last, don't fit right etc depending on what you buy.
