choosing distributor cap
Im looking to buy a new disributor cap and rotor for my b16a2
Found the TEC rotor which is OEM, as for the disributor cap my only choice is hitachi cap which is aluminium.
Dunno if the OEM cap is copper or brass,is there any reason to avoid aluminium ?

Re: choosing distributor cap
I believe the OEM cap uses aluminum contacts, they certainly aren't brass colored anyway. If you actually want brass Blue Streak normally uses brass contacts.

Just go OEM Honda cap+rotor it's YEC btw. the're made for each other. An "autozone" brand rotor with an OEM cap works but i like to stay OEM for all those little things.

Re: choosing distributor cap
Sometimes you can catch a Beck Arnley box with an OEM Honda cap/rotor in it. Oreilly's carries Import Direct, which also often times is NOS with a non-Honda box.
