126Hp 131Trq 8.8 Compression(96-98)
146Hp 133Trq 9.6 Compression (99-00)
i think it will be a good combo. youll go threw your gears faster. im currently putting in a 99' B20b in my 90' Integra, and im getting b16 gears in my trannie.

Good combo. With bolt on's, I have seen 15.0-15.3 1/4 mile times. Very good set up. I had a b20z/GSR bolt on ran a 14.8. Very street friendly. Fun to drive as well.

the link posted is good information on the difference between these engines. However it misses some information on the b20b 97-98 from the Honda Orthia and some CRV models from Japan. If you have a head that is stamped P8R on the front then you have this rare engine.
It has 9.2:1 compression ration P3F pistons, a 2 lay head gasket...
But more importantly the head is different in that is has 33mm intake valves which are the same size as vtec intake valves. It has a 47cc combustion chamber and has a lot more potential for a N/A all motor or even boost engine build. **It does not have a knock sensor**
Check your head.
Slight modification to the manifold and the head. At first I was a little scared to do so, but tell you what, I can't weld, Paint, or fabricate, but this I can do.

This helped out a lot. The B16 IM and the Type R IM has the same bolt pattern. I did to the B16 IM as I did to the Type R and BAM! It fits.
