Sorry if its been gone over before. I have found a few threads but a lot of it was a broad discussion. I'm actually more of a nissan gear head but trying to help out a friend with his 99 2.3CL. The car developed rod knock so I figured i'd offer to do them.

Are there any write ups or how-to's on this? If not, even a brief explanation would be great. I know I've done them in SR20 motor with the motor in the car so hopefully it can be done in this car as well. I was thinking of just ordering up some acl bearing in std size for it or should I go with some oem units? Sorry for being such a newb on this. Just trying to help a friend out.
