My driver side power window rolls up, almost all the way 3" gap left and starts jumping and bouncing and wont go up any further. what is the problem? the regulator is obviously Okay. it sounds good and rolls up and down fine. just gets to the top and acts like its on crack.

 

I'd say its either the regulator or the window track itself, can't be a switch problem because its working fine until that last 3". I would say if i had to bet its the regulator goin bad.

I just had this happen to me the regulator was bad the teeth were ground down and it would stop 2 inches from the top. I bought an ebay regulator 30 bucks and installed in a half hour.
