what sway bars do you guys recommend?
This is for a 92 hatch with gc/konis already. Rates are 350f/400r. So which do you guys recommend?
I know a popular one is the type r, but how do ST or other brands compare?
Thanks for the help.

he has no front bar Dr.Cortez. Some one reccomend a good front bar for him, I am personally gonna use the GSR/ITR 24mm Front and Type-R 22mm Rear.

I dont like the 24mm front bar , it induces understeer IMHO
22mm front bar - NO bigger.

Yah I want to test it out at VIR - maybe when funds are availble. For now its just trial and error I guess...
If you can't find a stock ITR one, you can always go with a Skunk2 rear sway. Same thing as ITR. Love mine with the Beaks kit.
I have a dx. do they make a mugen 26mm for my car? havent looked, but mated with a gsr front, should make a good combo?
Thanks....Mike
Thanks....Mike
Take your choice. I am using Neuspeed on the rear of the Prelude, ST on the Civic HB (F&R) and ADDCO on the CRX rear. Given a choice and best bang for my $$$ I would look at ADDCO (available direct or from Summit) or Neuspeed (even if they are more $$$). The ST bars are generally used in sets BTW.
well, my set-up is slightly stiffer than yours, but I run ST bars front and rear (25mm front, 19mm rear ) with konis and GC's 450#/500# springs. works exceptionally well. course, if you've never driven an oversteering car you may not like it, I moved to my integra after 3 years running a 99 Cobra in ESP, so having a car that tends to oversteer is what I'm used to/comfortable with.
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

wow, back from the dead....
Now im answering this from a hypothetical stand point. The spring rates, shock setting, tire pressures, etc, can greatly change how the car handles, regardless of the sway bars.
Large front bar & Large rear bar = more neutral
Large front bar and Small rear bar = might tend to understeer
Small front bar and Large rear bar = probably tend to oversteer
Small front bar and Small rear bar = again, probably more neutral
just front = understeer more
just rear = oversteer more
Again, this depends on how your car is set up, and can vary greatly from set-up to set-up. But for the most part, thats how those combos should effect the cars handling.

thanks for the fast response, yea i didn't feel like being torn into for asking a question that was already asked so i brought one back from the archives.
today when i went auto-xing for the first time, i understeered quite a bit, it may have been because of 1) driving experience 2) mediocre front tires, but i was hoping a sway bar set-up could also help. so would you recommend, possibly equal front and rears or just a rear to reduce understeer?

Get the ITR bar at a discount retailer like http://www.ahmotor.com, it'll cost a lot less than the dealer.
I thought the Skunk2 was 21mm vs. the ITR 22mm unless they changed it again.
