Default B20Vtec build completion..Input?!

I recently got done with my b20vtec and I've only gotten it street tune, but it drives amazing for what it is!

B20b
-RS machine 84.5mm "itr spec"
-ARP Rod bolts
-GE headstuds
STOCK cast p72
-SuperTech Valvesprings/retainers
-DC 4-1
Everything else STOCK(intake, exhaust, mani, cams, etc)

So I did a compression test the other day and it came out 245, 245, 245, 240

I was wondering if this was normal and what the compression ratio is? I notice the car pings a little above 4500rpms. Any way to fix this?

BTW, the car will be getting a dyno tune once I get the VictorX! (already have JUN3s, SK2 camgears, Hytech rep. Big tube) 220whp?!

compression will be different for every motor, no way to know if that is normal. you should not be reving it above 4500rpm until you get it tuned. it will ping and do all sorts of terrible **** for the motor without a tune. be nice to it until you tune it or you may have to rebuild it. ask my one year old ls vtec with blown oil rings how driving without a tune is.....

Id suggest getting rid of that header for something better and something other than the stock exhaust before getting it tuned though, otherwise if you're looking to make better power it would be for nothing to have to go back later once youve changed those things.

Car is street tuned on crome. And This build has been done so many times, I would think someone came out with similar numbers

I already have the big tube rep., and the car will be tuned with a cutout. I only got it street tuned stock so I can drive it realiably without ruining the motor. And then I will be throwing her on the dyno once I get my Mani.
