Wierd Wiring Harness on my H22a
Hello All,
Thanks for looking. I have been researching this all over for months and I'm tired of not finding any good answers, so I figured someone else may have had the same issue.
I bought my H22a motor from Hmotors and I am missing some connectors on my wiring harness. Specifically, C114, C134, and C139 (See attached PDF) in the service manual. Whats also really frustrating is the wires are not the same colors as depicted in the manual. I know this is the manual for the H22a1 but everyone says its the same when its not. Do I just need another manual for the JDM H22a or was some of my harness actually removed before I got it.
I cant find the connection for the 4 bar oxygen sensor, and I dont have a connector for the EGR valve. WTF???
Im getting terrible gas mileage (about 12- 15) city and Im running a little rich...I really just want to attach my o2 sensor to solve this problem. Maybe ill just run it straight to the ECU...
Any Help is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, it reaches, I just had to make lengthing adjustments for the alternator...otherwise it fits and connects into the original 92 civic cx harness
Well since you arent even driving a prelude you have a civic you should of said something.
If you want there are a few alternatives you can do here.
1. Get a USDM h22 harness
2. or you can wiring in the sensor that you are missing.

Whoops, your right I should have mentioned that. Sorry acidcrakker. Anyway, I will end up wiring in the O2 sensor, just like i had to do for the vtec solenoid valve and pressure switch... since I didnt have a pin and there are NO good junkyards around me, I just ended up clipping the wires from A4 and D6 (pinouts) out of C484 and C426 respectively. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue with JDM harnesses.

Never used JDM harnesses Ive always just used usdm, or made my own out of JDM ones.
Ive made a handful of H22 harnesses for preludes and one H22 harness for the civic del sol.
Never actually used the jdm harnesses before because they arent wired for the usdm dizzies.
If I was you id just wire in the missing sensors. If you need pins I can help you out, and I might have extra plugs for the egr and o2 sensors. PM if you need these things.
