Default 2000 Accord 2 door drivers door lock jammed

I have a 2000 Accord, 2 door. The driver's door won't unlock. The mechanism inside the panel just won't unlock. THe little bar that goes up to the door lock moves, however it is not engaging inside the mechanism. Can anyone help please? Thanks.

You need to remove the door panel and drill the latch mechanism to access the release lever. It's a pain in the ***. Search Google. You should find a diagram someone put together that shows exactly where to drill and what to do.

hey check this out, I had a problem like this with my gf's car and tried some stuff and this worked..... Roll the window down. Sit on the inside and reach outside the window and hold the latch on the outside of the door open and hit the auto-unlock button(this probably won't unlock it). Then let go of the outside door latch and then hit the unlock button again and see if that works.

Note: her problem was she tried opening the door before the alarm unlocked the doors after parking the car and it locked up the assembly. Her locks were already starting to go out.
