tranny or clutch???

tranny or clutch???
My buddy was driving my 94 integra and it somehow got stuck in third gear. Probably from him jamming gears or something broke off in the tranny. But now I cant get it out of third gear at all. Can anybody help me???

had that happen to me on a sunbird once thing went to the scrap yard.
1) drain tansmission fluid and see if there is metal filings in the oil , if so your toast.
2) if no metal filings check the shift pin in the back if the transmission see if flops around. if it does probsbly set screw or coller came lose
3) last if all that is done. get another trans, or you can tare down and have a look at the shift forks
