just replaced my dx tranny with an si, and did a clutch on my 92 hatch. now the axles went in. but im not sure if they are in all the way. im going now to get new axles, but can someone post a picture of under the tranny, so i can see how much gap there is supposed to be between the tranny and axle?

I don't have a picture but it should be almost flush. They are hard to get all the way in what I did was I just pushed it and twisted a little to get it into place

 

There should be a tiny gap like a mm or two maybe. They are pretty hard to get in sometimes.

 

Post pictures of your axles where they insert into the differential.

 

ok i got them in. but found out that i need to replace the right axle seal. o well. it can't cost that much. going to majestic's website to order one.

 

Due to the shipping and handling charges at Majestic, it will be cheaper to buy the seal at your local Honda dealer.

 

thats true. forgot about the shipping. ill just drive over to majestic tomorrow tehn. only 10 mins away. shouldn't hurt to drive with a leaking seal will it? i dont think its leaking that much.
