Default DIY Speed Sensor wiring

Looking for more info on how to wire up my vss directly. My speedo doesnt work and when i drive my car after like 20 min ill get a CEL of code 17 which is VSS. I have changed the sensor with like 3 other ones and it still doesnt work.

I have a 1994 Integra ls with a jdm gsr swap. Bought my engine harness from some guy on craigslist so idk if the harness makes a difference or not.

Ive searched and havent really found good info. Anyone that knows exactly where i can connect each of the 3 cables on the speed sensor please help me and ill greatly appreciate it. I know one is ground but thats it.

Your connections are dirty my man. Clean it up with some electronic connection cleaner, air duster, isopropyl alcohol, and whatnot

one is your ground, one is your signal, one is your battery power.
The battery power goes to your ecu , I think they call it sensor voltage in the book.
the signal goes to your ecu , and also to your gauge cluster ( one wire, into two)
This is for obd1.

to test it you can just put your key in the on position and check for voltage at one of the wires, then check for ground continuty on the other black wire. the signal wont get anything unless you lift up the front of the car and rotate the tire it would fluctuate.

If you need the exact ecu pin out locations just pm me or search for your ecu. Then search for integra gauge cluster pinouts.
