OK guys, i broke my intake camshaft in half, dont ask me why lol
i need to know what kind of cams i can use for a really good price, caus i plan to have cams in the future so might as well do it now when its broke. I have a B20b stock with a turbo not like it matters but it would help knowing what kind i should use from more experienced Honda guys like yourselfs! thanks please e mail me at Fast50racer228@yahoo.com thats my e mail

i would just get a set of itr or ctr cams they are mild enough to drive everyday but not super aggressive. just curious how the hell did you break a camshaft?
i wasnt paying attention like a retard, i have ADD so it must have been uneven, and put pressure while i was tightening them down and snap, all my evo friends were around me and guess what? i get a bunch of **** y, caus they say its a Honda. lol
na stupid me tho, and its fine just talk on here, i dont have vtak so any suggestions Speedoking

yeah sorry didn't even think about vtec.....i would just find some stock b20 cams then, are you racing the car or is it just your DD? if you really want aftermarket cams you have to price out new ones and if they fit your driving style, but if i were you and using the car as a DD i would just get another set of b20 cams and a set of adjustable cam gears and get the car tuned.
i agree with speedoking, thats what ill prob do then, what is the diff if i get performance cams and drive it as a DD caus my friends have cams in their evos and they drive it daily. will it effect anything?
the pro is obvious, better performance with aftermarket cams, the cons are you will have a rougher idle, from an economic standpoint your gas mileage will be worse, and you will have to get a tune to get any major benefit from the cam. you said you are boosted so a tune is a good idea whether you get stock or aftermarket. also stock cams are a lot cheaper then aftermarket ones. If you race your car then i would say they are worth it if you don't then i wouldn't get them. I don't know what the power differences would be but I'm sure if you asked around and had a specific cam in mind someone here could give you a ballpark idea.
edit: if you do get aftermarket cams i would only get a stage 1 maybe stage 2 but that would be getting a little agressive anything more then a stage 2 is race spec

I have a set of OE B20B cams. 50 bucks
If you get an aftermarket cam, youll need to get new springs and retainers, cam gears, the get degree'd and a tune.. your looking at $1000 just to do it right so you dont blow up the engine. Alot of idiots just throw in new aftermarket cams and wonder why they dont make the power they thot it would cuz they over cam.
Degreeing is a very important step that often gets overlooked.
Stick to OE for reliability and ease of install.. theyre just plug and play. no tune, nothing..
Speedo, Why would he tune for stock cams when the car is already tuned for them on his OE ECU? He is not changing the AFR, just the timing points if he throws cam gears on it. worthless IMHO. Save all the timing tuning for when you get an aggressive cam that you need to tune for.

Depending on the price range you are willing to pay I might be able to work something out for you!
