so im 18 years old and hav been through 5 cars this being my 6th and i plan on keeping this one. Before this car i had a 97 rhd coupe. that had a bunch of stuff done to it. i bought a "type r" swap to put in it and jus never stopped havin problems out of it. so i tore it down. i mean stipped the car to nothing and traded it for a semi stock 00 coupe. when i traded the rhd shell it had no motor, susp, wheels, seats, steering wheel, mirrors, exhaust, radio, shifter, ****, everything that i could keep i did lol and i even ended up getting a playstation 3 outta him. he wanted it so bad in all the wrong ways.

so upon getting this new coupe it had cut springs, busted track r's, a huge gray spot where someone hit him and he did and awful job with some bondo (some 1/2 in worth of bondo) no front lip, and stock interior. i dont hav any pictures of it like that.

this is going to be a slow build cuz im in college as of right now but the next thing on the agenda is paint. ive considered a few colors like a deep dark purple or a burgundy...im not sure yet...what ya'll think? all i kno is the green has got to go lol any comments are welcome even if you want to bash i dont care i like it so its not gonna hurt my feelings lol

 

I don't think burgundy or purple would look good unless you repaint the wheels too...just my $.02. Also, please get a new lip ASAP. Other than that, I'm likin it man Come check out the Squad site when you have a chance. (ej8squad.com)

 

I think you can make this out to be something real classy but very necessary. What i mean is a nice clean beast.

 

habanero red is close to burgundy. check it out u have options..BMW has this nice plum looking color for the 2010 3-series coupes

 

the lip wont look like that lol its not even mounted its jus chillin on the bumper lol

 

and im not paintin the wheels so ima hav to figure somethin out on the color
but you kno im reppin that steez

I think maybe a somewhat neutral color for the car might be a good idea when you have all that color going on w/ the wheels/interior, etc.
