Hey I have a 97 EK with a 1997 b18B turbo. The ECU is a OBD1 p75 with a hondata s300.
I noticed when I took out the ECU cover that one of the wires from the jumper harness broke off its pin. I don't know If i did it or it was already like that.

None the less I haven't noticed what changed after the wire broke??
I was wondering if you guys knew what function or sensor the wire that broke off was.

Here are some pics that I took. It is the top to the very left hand corner wire.

Do any of you guys know what wire that is for? because after driving around I can't figure what went wrong.







The wire that came off the harness is the top left corner one.

Any help suggestion, feedback, tips, explanation would be greatly appreciated.

thanks alot for the diagram. But hmm.. it does seem like the it is the brake switch, but? whats suppose to happen if that connection is out?
Because Both my brake lights work. and my brakes work??

hmmm....

 

why would the ecu need a wire for brake switch? or electrical load? or for slowing down purposes on down shifting?
