I want to put a Dohc Vtec sticker on my integra, but will it cause more attention for someone to want to jack me?

Should people flash what they got under their hood?

 

unless you sleep with a gun under your pillow like i do, id be careful about how you brag about your car

 

depends where you live and where you park your car. Best case, just leave off the stickers

 

your not flashing anything tho...it's not like people don't know what's under the hood of a teg, or vtec just came out. and if you did an engine swap to get vtec good work and if it would make you feel special to put it on a sticker, have fun...this is not a tech post tho. move to appearance.

This thread is amusing. My first "mod" on my GSR was to remove that darn "steal me I have VTEC" sticker...

 

Stickers take away from a clean look in my opinion.

 

I shaved the DOHc VTEC sticker on my trunk

 

I put the DOHC VTEC decals on my car similar to the 99-00 Si Civics. I like the look, but it does advertise to thieves; however, i think my intercooler does a better job

if its gonna happen, its gonna happen. A sticker isn't gonna attract thieves. Its not like they will see the sticker and then say to themselves "hey! this sticker means something is under this hood, lets take it." you already have a car that is one of the top cars on thieves list. Its just a matter of time before it happens.

 

Just get full coverage and insure your mods. Let it ride!

 

Put the "Steal me I have a VTEC" sticker on instead of teh DOHC Vtec sticker.

 

When I want to put stickers on my Teggy, I put it under the hood where there is less heat so they don't melt off... that way when the hood is up, the stickers are there to see, but not physically when driving around...

 

I say leave it on

 

i got my beat *** da with those decals on it even tho it never had a vtec motor in it. i took them off real quick. imo, dont put them on there. your asking for trouble!

LOL.. i put the DOHC VTEC sticker on my 97 gsr behind the door on the lower panel where the type-r's have their decal.. looked alright and everyone in town knew me by that sticker.. i was "that integra with the dohc vtec sticker on the side" for a while.. LOL but then again, i was only 17 at the time.. 9 yrs later and its a different story

 

LOL...I like this!!! BUT OP, I wouldn't do it. Not my thing. Heck, I have even shaved off my elbems.

 

If you want it put it on, **** the haters.....


And any car is a risk to steal, i'm tired of people saying don't do something cause it'll get stolen.

 

I say buy em and mock them up and see if you like it and if you don't just keep the stickers..that'll be your start of collecting Honda stickers!!
