Custom Front forks??
The front for I have on my little 80cc is bent (alittle).
my choices were,
bring it in to a shop, and get it straight (i heard that even if it does become straight, the oil starts leaking.... dunno if this is true)
buy new genuine front forks (the price is a hefty $1700 i think or more)
i want to see if there are any other possibilities
the front fork is a inverted fork, and it seems like the outside is not bent, but only the inside is bent alittle.
are there any shops out there that would make me a good front fork?
(i was thinking ohlins might make a custom one, but... its ohlins, too expensive)

2 words: Fork swap! I've got one under my belt so far...a 929/954 front end on my '96 VFR750. Though, on USD forks, if the lower (inner) tube is tweaked, it can often be replaced by itself. It's not hard to do, and the inner tube alone shouldn't cost much more than $200 or so.
Yeah, fork swap might be a good choice... but the problem is, i dunno any that would fit fairly easily. I guess my choices are any kx80, kx50 etc, forks... but the problem for thoes forks are that they are too long. the length of the fork is somewhat close to a ysr50 or a nsr50 (its alittle longer than that).
yup, i guess ill try bringing it in to a shop and see if its actually the inner fork thats bent, and if its replacable
