what chip i should buy
hey i have a p28, where i buy all the thing for chip it but i stiil need to buy the chip but there is a lot of them, mugen, hondacura, spoon...etc, which one i should buy, i have a d16y8 n/a and want tune the ecu for ma engine
The best solution would be to have the car dyno tuned using a chipped ecu.
The next best solution would be to run a chipped ecu on a basemap.

You can get custom tuned STS72SF512 EPROM chips for anywhere from $15-$30. No June, Mugen or Skunk copied BS.
It would be tuned specifically for your engine.
Anyone with tuning knowledge, and a chip burner can get you a base map. For $30+ you would hope to be getting a dyno proven map.
I've chipped a few ECUs and I have also downloaded some of those name brand, so called Performance, maps.... not much too them really.

thanks men but the thing is that i dont want to spend to much money on this, there is a ebay seller that tell me that he can send the chip with my engine basemap and with some stuff on it for 16$, but there is another person that tell me that they charge like 130$ for sell me the chip and tuned it lol
Well a chip and tune is much better than just a blind base map chip and $130 for a chip and tune is ritardedly cheap.
$130 for a chip and tune, dose that include him actually meeting up with you to tune your car on a dyno or the street? Or is he just saying that it is a tuned map?

he tell me that goes to some shop that he gave me the direction here on florida, us, that they install me the chip and connect the ecu and tune it for my car, thats all that he told me but i dont really know to much about this ecu stuff i am really lost
$130 is a cheap rate for all of that. Hopefully they know what they are doing. Hopefully they aren't just some fly by night street tuner with a laptop, Crome Free and some blank chips.
If you are considering going to that shop. Ask for some references and stop by to see some work that they have done.
