I've been a lurker on this site for a while now and finally though I would join. I have a 97 Del Sol SI that is painted Laser Blue Metallic. It has almost no rust other then the very little in the engine bay. I have had the car since March and love it. I plan the re-build the car from the ground up after winter, full shaved and tucked bay, turbo'd, por15 the whole underside and undercoat it after stitch welding everything, full re-paint from the bare metal, etc etc. Now some pics.

Thanks for the input guys. Yes I plan to lower it, just need to buy some coilovers. Only looking for a 2" drop really nothing crazy. Any suggestions on stiffening up the chassis on it, as Targas have a weaker chassis then other cars.

 

If you don't want to get too crazy just get some decent shocks, koni reds/kyb gr2 and some Sport springs.

Most people will recommend you get something that will last you longer and with some flexibility.

Koni/GC (600-850 new or used)
Tokico/GC (500-750 new or used)
Progress full coilover ($579 new hard to find used)

 

I was looking into the Progress coilovers, I think that they would be the best fit for me, and the fact that they have different spring rates to choose it a nice option.
