Also, do you think this is worth getting? I have a d15, and I've heard headers kill power and gas on smaller Honda engines.

 

A header will give you better power and in most cases better gas mileage. I dont know who told you a myth like that.

 

A couple of the Honda haters that got mad when I got rid of my Neon For my Civic.

Although the Neon dusted all of my friends with minor performance mods on their civics or tegs. The Neon was stock

Well some one have given you a wrong information about the header.It always give better gas mileage and more power.

 

Ivtec civics. vtec tegs. Tegs don't come single and none of them were stock buddy.

So is the actual kit I posted worth buying?

 

neons are a joke. maybe your buddies need to be better drivers. i walked my friends barely bolted on mod neon in a del sol with only an intake.

no. getting alllll those parts for that cheap is not good. it'll run, then rust, then fall off. get real headers or at least replicas. a real exhaust and a race cat.
if your runnin a single get a turbo manifold...you'll need it for any power...along with the turbo.

I'm not doubting the good possibility of rust and all kinds of mayhem incorporated with performance parts from ebay...it just seems like nobody has ever said "I had one and it created such and such problem"

I'm buying this for now because my exhaust is rusted and the muffler is gone. I am going to b18c swap this car eventually, I just want a little something for this car.

The neon was a stock 1999 2.0 single. The teg had a full exhaust intake and manifold and the head was shaved down a bit. the civic had a full custom exhaust with highflow cat short ram and a few other mods I can't remember. Don't hate on Neons they run strong till 180k

 

most are they are cheaply made. headers are well known for cracking, exahusts leak crack on welds so on. its just the basic of what comes with cheap parts. get megan and DC sports if you want. not great but definately better then ebay.

i don't hate neons. they're ok. but most people that drive them are idiots. ive had a fully loaded neon with what im guessing was only exhaust try and race me.
