I bought a crx that has a b20vtec with a cable s1 trans but the owner before converted the car to obd1 and put a dc gauge cluster in the car. This means the car has a electric vss and not the cable one. The probelm is if you remove the vss and turn by hand or drill the gauge on the cluster works, but if I install the sensor and drive I get NO read from tranny on the gauge or datalogging meaning the speedo gear is not touching the vss gear. I was wanting to know if there is a electric vss to use that will engage the speedo gear in the tranny. Thanks
