Default Pros and Cons of head gaskets

What are the pros and cons when you install a thicker head gasket when compared to a thinner one?

I know a thicker one will lower your compression so it's good for FI
While thinner one will raise the compression and it's bad for FI

Any thing else? What else does a thicker head gasket do?

thicker head gasket will move the valves away from the pistons more..less chance of bending them incase of cam gears slippage or sumtin...vise-versa for the thinner
