yes, it is BASE. i GLADLY paid $21K for it.

Not to just but into your conversation, but you said you got the base for $21k? thats kinda suprising, I talked to a dealer at my local Honda dealership and he said the top EX model with an auto trans and navigation was $23k. I was kinda sadened that it didnt come with more options though, or even an available moonroof. but I guess the CRX was a pretty cheap car back in its day too. The dealer also said he hadnt heard of a 6 speed manual trans, is it not an option?

 

The F? Of course the six speed is available. It's the base transmission. If you factor in inflation compared to the late 80's, the price of the CRZ is about as much as a CRX was then.

 

ya, I went to the Honda website and watched the videos for it after I posted that. lol Not that its super cheap like some other cars on the market, but it would have been nice if it would have been available with more options.

 

and im perfectly happy with the base model, i dont need a sunroof, i dont need fogs, and i dont need nav or bluetooth. all of which i can install myself as i happen to be a honda technician.. albeit a pretty dumb one. oh i am also a MAN and NAV is up there next to ASKING for directions LOL.

and the girl doesnt want a 6-spd and im just tryin to keep her happy so i said eff it and got an auto.. and bought the car.

then i drove it. the cvt is not awesome, but it is pretty cool. and i cant believe i just said that but its true.

PS if the dealer TOLD you 23 it will end up being like 25 BEFORE taxes. they hit you for accessories they hit you for destination, and this and that, plus if you finance through HONDA it will cost you a grand or two depending on your credit. EXTRA. and thats NOT negotiable. trust me. ive been both a tech and a salesman <------ over the last 11 years (not by choice i hurt my back in accident).

hybridhondaguy-i got mines for 22 ex but no navi mines a 6 speed and black wish i woulda got red but its cool i live in GA by the way havent seen anyone riding around in one yet besides me im thinking about getting that door still would u happen to know how to install it im talking about the illuminated one

22 was a fair price for an EX. remember i got CVT though which adds like another grand or so.

 

oh ps not going to DYNO anything of mine today.

i would really suggest you to break it in for at least 10k before doing any wild stuff like dyno's
