Has This Happened To Anyone Before????????
Ok so my engine builder was going to put the motor back together, And he found that one of my Eagle rods threw a bearing. Well I was calling and trying to find out some info about this situation to almost every shop that I knew of. I need one rod part number crs5394a3d-1 and I found a few guys that sale the rod individually but they would need the weight of the rod. Either Big end, Small end or Total weight of the rod period. If anyone has dealt with this rod in particular I would GREATLY APPRECIATE the weight specs on it. The setup is A 9:1 piston and rod GSR bottom end with LS crank. and a B16 head. thanks
yeah i worked at a company that we ordered a bit of wholesale through them for some engine parts. never had any issues at all. i checked them because i once ordered a single piston for a customer once. raceeng wanted the weight or another company you talked to? i think they want the weight because they want to match the weight of the rods you already have. have your machinist weight the 3 rods you currently have and match a new rod to it.
Ok thanks man that really did help. I guess I will just go ahead and order that rod friday cause I really wanna get my var finished man lol.
