I bought a turbo GSR, and the intercooler is rusted, the pipe from turbo into intercooler is actualy dented really badly and keeps popping out, no matter how i tighten its shot, and its got a votech BOV that flutters instead of just the pshhh... i was looking at:

i just need something to keep it going for now... its a small turbo, just need the intercooler going again, and the BOV fixed...
if these are crap or what not, anyone know where a good affordable one would be?

 

Well all three listing are expired but ebay intercooler's are fine just make sure you rinse it out really good before you install it, I've seen them come with crap in them before.
As for the bov is it adjustable? It sounds like its not opening and you're getting compressor surge which is bad.

 

Sounds to me like your hearing the wastegate opening, not the bov. Ebay intercoolers are not the best out there but they will work great for your setup. I have found ebay bov's to work pretty good as well.

 

Yea, it is adjustable... (currently i am cleaning my IAC valve, praying to go it dosent go out on me)... here is a few more posts, maybe these work? i was going to compare it to my current pipe visualy and see...

ebay turbo kits are ok
dont worry so much a lot of people say so much bad things about it
but i had buddy in usa used them before and they say there are not that much problems
just dont over abuse them and u be set and be a happy camper

 

ok, well i mean i figured it all piping, and since what i have is bent, rusted, and hard to keep on, that anything would be better lol... and im going to try and adjust my BOV and see if that does anything for me
