op, please put what help you need in the titles of your threads. i'll fix this one for you.

yellow/green...

****. as far as stuff that won't let the car start, green/yellow is fuel pump relay whereas yellow/green is ICM.

if it is indeed yellow with a green stripe then i'd guess ICM.

hmm, what engine is it? do you have another distributor that you can 1. swap on or 2. salvage the ignitor to swap and test?

though, re: wire color, i hate to have you chase your tail off of my foggy memory.

Post a picture of the connector and bad wire.

Are you talking about the green C131 connector? If so, it does not have a Yel/Grn wire. But it does have a Yel/Blu wire that pins at terminal 20.

What specific wire running to C131 is burnt?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a 00 Civic DX with a D16Y8 swap, right? What wire harnesses and ECU are in the car?

Your first post said this "now car wont start and wont read cel." In post #3, you said this "gave it throttle runs but missing and alot of smoke. also wont stay on if i take throttle off." In post #6, you said this "dash lights turned on with key off. Then went off when found shorted wire." What are the current problems with the car?

20 yellow/blue.... it cranks over wont fire but if i hold throttle will run. only with foot on throttle it smokes badly and sounds like its blown. also cel is solid doesn't flash on or off and scan tool wont read ecu.

The Yel/Blu wire provides reference voltage from the ECU to the fuel tank pressure sensor and the throttle position sensor (TPS). The latter explains your throttle problem. Repair the shorted wire and go from there. Cross your fingers that the wire short did not also damage the ECU. Considering the dash lights problem, there are likely additional shorted wires that also need to be located.

bringing it back-

that green plug-c131 has a white wire going from c131's harness to one of the ECU plugs harness, right near the ecu. Im unsure if its stock or not. is it?

When i was under there i found a broken wire on c131, it was green w/ a blk tracer. From the looks of the position it was either 14 or 19.I fixed it, didnt notice anything. My car has always been 5sp.

Also, does anyone have any insight to the fuel tank pressure sensor and its relation to the TPS?
