Default Storing my car

So I can't afford insurance for my car anymore and when I will again is unknown. I dont think more than 2 months though. I dont have a garage, car will be sitting on the side of the street. What are some things I should do? Should i take that battery out? and I was thinking I'll go out and start it up and let it run for a a few minutes once a week to keep it fresh, good idea?

Good idea to keep oil not sitting. You know someone can just come and tow your car away if you take the battery out. Your gonna need to be alittle more creative if you don't live in a non-existant crime nieghborhood.

I live downtown so there is always someone parked behind my car. I'm not too concerned about theft, just want to know what stuff I can do to keep iti fresh so that when I go to start it up a couple months from now it will start right up. I've heard about fuel going bad or battery going bad, what can I do to avoid those?

They sell fuel additive that is supposed to help when fuel sits for a while but idk how effective it actually is. The car will be fine just sitting. I would just disconnect the negative cable on the car and then start it and let it warm up once a week. If you can move it from one spot to another on the same street so it isnt in the exact same spot the entire two months. Should be fine that isnt very long and many people store their cars longer over the winter months.
