hi, i did a gsr swap in a 96 dx. the swap came with a skunk 2 pro chipped ecu. i've got some doubts about the ecu, for one i didnt have any of the vtec or o2 sensors hooked up, and there was no cel. i hooked them up and dont feel or hear vtec.? also i bought a tach, and am not getting a signal, not from the dizzy or behind the dash? could the ecu be screwed? or ? im not a noob by no means i know how to wire stuff up. i just think the ecu has issues. any help would be great.

The rpm signal comes from the blue wire attached to the ICM inside the distributor, not the ECU.

just add the wire from distributor to the tech. that"s it.......

 

i'm not getting a signal off the dizzy. but the speed sensor wires broke, and when i searched someone said that might have something to do with it, even though that doesnt make 100% sense. im gonna check for a fuse i guess.

 

The speed sensor (VSS) has nothing to do with the rpm signal for the tach.
