I wouldn't be lying if I said I was killing myself here... Because I've been trying and trying to find some information that would help me piece together a turbo kit for my car.

I'm getting an h22 or an h23 TB/IM but that's about as far as I've gotten.

I'm clueless, not gonna lie. I know what makes up a turbo kit, but I have no idea what I should buy. I know others have done it, so if there's anyone out there who has done it or has the knowledge, could you please help me out a bit? Anything helps.

 

the auto wont hold,i have a auto but now ipt has sorted that,ull have to change to manual and or upgrade the tranny,everything else u can search for

 

So why would you have to change the trans exactly?

 

because the auto cant handle the power ,it creates to much heat for the stock internals of the box,the clutches in the box are excellent 15-20 years ago wen 250hp was impressive,anything between 180 to 220whp(6months for mine) will kill the box,
u can keep it but then u need to send the box away to specialist that can reinforce it,
also external oil cooler is a must,not a "i can do with out it for 3 months"

its not a matter if the auto trans will break, its when.. it cant handle it.. it will break.

 

Well, what if I just keep the auto until it does break, and then get a manual?
