i wa skepticle about taking it up to red line but after seeing so many videos of ppl bouncen off rev limiter and shifting rite at red line i thot i would give it a try, and it doesnt bounce off rev limiter like in videos i see, when my rev limioter kicks it it like "cuts out" and im like wow

So it doesn't do this in every gear? I'm confused. And it will "cut out" when you hit rev limiter. It's there to save your engine and you really shouldn't be "bouncing off of it".

OP, it is apparent you need to STRONGLY think about a driver mod. just a shot in the dark because those cx/dx hatch gear ratios are SUPER tall.

fyi the rev limiter is a fuel cut. meaning your engine is starving itself over and over and over. that thing is there for a mistake, not to purposely hit it.

Hate to be the old guy that injects some wisdom here but isn't 190kph, 90kph over the speed limit? That is unless your driving on a track, witch I hope is the case. Hate to see you end up as another statistic.

Also in regards to your rev limiter. I'm sure that by the time you hit that all your engine is doing is making noise. I highly doubt that your stock engine pulls until 6800 rpm (redline)

Just out of curiosity what rpm are you hitting this rev limit at?
7200rpm is what is posted for the D16Y7. If you are hitting a rev limiter before this does your CEL come on?
