need help with 88 crx hf mini me
i swapped d15b2 and z6 head with y8 cam gear zerg obd0 to obd1 jumper it starts but runs ruff it seems that 2 cylinders arnt working number 3 and 4 i can pull both injector plugs off and it makes no difference same with 3 and 4 plug wires but i have spark on all 4 wires and current to injectors tested injectors with a battery they all opened up but still runs the same btw it was already multiport
Do a compression test and see what each cylinder yields...
In each cylinder you need spark, fuel, and compression. If you know you have spark, then it's either fuel or compression. On those two cylinders where it makes no difference if you have the injectors plugged in or not, if you have compression then you know it's fuel related (and vice versa).

its got good compression in all four im running a po7 some say its a lean burn ecu with a 5 wire o2 for vtec-e d15z1 i have 4 wire o2 great fuel pressure should i buy a p08 or p28 and have it tuned without o2 thanks
you need air also lol
I would switch the 2 injectors with the other 2 cylinders
if the problem goes along, you know you need new injectors, or send them in to be cleaned and refreshed

I was pretty sure the Y8 and Z6 cam gears are not identical in terms of timing, why not use the Z6 gear

always use y8 cam gear for b2/z6 mini z6 gear way to small btw it a z6 mini me and the zerg industy jumper dosnt specify wear the vtec pressure switch groung cause they only provided 1 wire for the 2 wire switch
all 88-00 civic/crx/delsol singlecam gears are the same diameter and size
ONLY differences is cosmetic, and the alignment of the cam key.
The cam key changes with the cam its factory paired up with of course.
always match the cam gear to the camshaft in vtec motors. if doing minimes, that is the only time on a honda singlecam that you have the option of going to another factory cam gear to solve timing issues, or you can get a fancy looking adjustable cam gear and dial in teh difference as necessary
the internet is full of information on this and can back my statement up.
Id search, but my internet is being a slow POS at the moment, hell it took 4-5 minutes for this page to load
dont listen to this guy

Should you need the proper cam gear shoot me an email

100% correct, match the camgear to the camshaft! With the amount of swaps and odd crazy things people do, people often do not think about properly matching these things.
