97 HX, 154,XXX mileage

Coolant leaked slowly from the bottom, car crazy overheated yesterday (no sign other than the gauge and was not sure how long it was burning for...) pretty sure I blew the head gasket (car still drives, just losing coolant and I can smell it burning inside the block).

Looking to hire someone who has done this before for a day's worth of work. I've seen the other threads (mostly in bigger markets, but hoping I can find someone somewhat locally) where people offer to help people with swaps, paying for a day's work and buying lunch. I've not done this type of job on my own and could probably do it over a couple days, but really need it to finish in one day (might as well do the timing belt and water pump since the engine needs to come apart).

I'm ~2 hours north of Detroit. I can bring the car to you or you can come to me, doesn't matter. We can work out tools, jack, stands, etc (I have most everything needed for the job). I will help with the job (and be there for the whole job). Lunch/Dinner is also on me.

PM me your location (or if you want to come to the car) and your rate for a day (if you want to bring a friend to help, the rate for both). I'm willing to drive 2-3 hours in any direction to bring the car to you.

For those wondering: I'm not sure if the block is cracked or if the head gasket is blown. Exhaust is not excessive (can't smell coolant in it), but I have not checked my oil (yet). Out of town until Monday (will check the oil on Monday).
